MIYAMA FOLKLORE MUSEUM
At the museum that opens the main house, barn, and storehouse of a Kitayama-style thatched house, more than 200 items such as old farming equipment and daily tools are on display, allowing you to experience the life of Miyama in the past.
Opening hours: December-March 10am-4pm, April-November 9am-5pm
Closed: Mondays, year-end and New Year holidays (closed on Mondays from December to March)
Admission fee: 300 yen for adults, free for elementary and junior high school students

THE LITTLE INDIGO MUSEUM
Established in 2005 by Hiroyuki Shindo, the collection of indigo dyes collected from all over the world is open to the public. At the workshop where indigo bottles are buried, you can observe the state of traditional indigo dyeing.
Opening hours: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Closed: Thursdays and Fridays (open on public holidays) / Closed in winter: early December to early March (details will be announced on Instagram)
